When she’s not dedicating time to her Young Money family, Shanell is lending a hand to other artists including her friend Aubrey O’Day. The singer-songwriter dueted with the former Danity Kane member on a cover of Eddie Murphy’s 1985 hit “Party All the Time.”
Now Aubrey is planning to keep the party going with a solo album, and Shanell drops a few hints as to what it may sound like. “She loves the ’80s and she’s kind of a I-love-everybody type of fun girl, so it’ll probably be along those lines. Just fun music, dance music,” she tells Rap-Up TV.

Aubrey O’Day just completed a three-month stint starring in the topless burlesque “Peep Show” in Sin City, and it doesn’t sound like the experience was all wine and roses for the pop princess.
“I try to live my life without regrets but I definitely learned a lot, one of them being that I love living here (in LA) better than anyplace else,” O’Day told Pop Tarts. “Vegas is fun but I’m getting so maternal with Ginger and Maryanne (her dogs), they’re my number one priority.” And word on the street is also that O’Day and her co-star Holly Madison weren’t exactly best pals.
“I was always in LA recording, so when I came in I was just working. I only had a work relationship with anyone there,” she said. “I didn’t know anyone enough to dislike them or like them.” Along with the stress of performing near-naked almost every night and not exactly being close to her cast mates, O’Day also struggled with body images issues. “(I felt pressure) to be thin all the time, you constantly have to be aware of your body,” O’Day said. “I obviously couldn’t have dinner before I went onstage, but I would chow down when I got off stage! I’m a girl who eats, I love to eat.”
Aubrey will be creating her own milkshake at Millions of Milkshakes on Saturday March 13th, 2010 at 7:30pm according to HollywoodTV. And everyone is invited! How exciting is this for Aubrey to have her own milkshake named after her? Other celebrities that have had their own milkshakes include Miley Cyrus, Lindsay Lohan, the Kardashians, Ciara, and more. After her party in Rhode Island, Aubrey will heading to New York for another birthday celebration at Club Saturn in Brooklyn, New York. Its scheduled to be on Friday February, 26. So those of you who are in the area and would like to party with Aubrey, come on out!

Could Aubrey be possibly returning to the Peepshow this Spring in Vegas? Accordning to Heyman Hustle, Aubrey’s birthday comes as she is getting ready to “head into rehearsals when Planet Hollywood’s “Peep Show” opens back up this Spring“. There has not been any confirmation or hints from Aubrey that she is going to return to the show, so we will just put this on rumors list. What do you guys think of Aubrey returning to Peepshow?

From what we could hear from the video, Aubrey is filming a show for MTV (what happened to VH1?) and is currently recording new music (hopefully for a new album coming out soon?). The second video brings us inside to the party where friends and family sing happy birthday to Aubrey.
Diddy’s all-girl pop group, Danity Kane, was assembled on the MTV hit show ‘Making the Band’ back in 2005, but the group’s success was short lived. After members Aubrey O’Day and D. Woods were removed from the quintet the band eventually dismantled, with former member Dawn Richard currently making up the third element in Diddy’s new group, Dirty Money. Despite the disintegration of the band, however, a new partnership with eigoMANGA Comics will see the legacy of the group inked in history.
The series will be created by Richard, who signed the deal with eigoMANGA. The new comics, which will debut this Spring 2010, are inspired by the current music scene, but will tell the story of a young woman sent from a distant planet to free her people while fighting a war against their oppressors. “I am excited about the partnership between eigoMANGA and Danity Kane Comics,” Richard said. “We are moving Danity Kane Comics into a new frontier. We want to merge the worlds of comics and music together and we have started on the road to doing so.”

MicahJesse.com has posted a new song by O’Neal McKnight ft. Aubrey entitled Fashion Week. Apparently, the song is suppose to debut at the Richie Rich’s show on February 18 during New York Fashion week. Not really feeling the song even though she only sings the chorus..What do ya’ll think?

Aubrey, in a summery top and shades, visited Valerie beauty salon in Beverly Hills on January 30th before heading home to Orange County. Aubrey has been in Hollywood for the past few days to get some free swag from Pre-Grammy parties, but I wonder why she didn’t attend the actual show? She looks so gorgeous. The brown hair suits her a lot!
Grammy weekend got the party started with neon flash Thursday in Hollywood, at the first ever DipDive Data Awards, honoring electronic music. A caravan of young hipsters came to see Will.I.Am and the Black Eyed Peas perform with five-time Grammy nominee DJ David Guetta. Celeb partiers included Aubrey O’Day, P. Diddy, Malin Akerman, John Legend, Chad Michael Murray, and 90210’s Jessica Lowndes.
As for her part, the lovely Aubrey O’Day – just starting to record new “electro-dance” music, she says – wanted to make the scene on Grammy weekend. “The beat – it keeps you entranced, it makes you want to move your body,” O’Day told EW, explaining her love of electronic music. “It makes you want to jump around and forget about all the problems you have.”
It may still be a guilty pleasure for a lot of you, but over here at Complex, we feel no shame in watching reality TV. Sure, most of them have turned into loosely (and, yeah, sometimes poorly) scripted hybrids of game shows and sitcoms, showcasing fame whores willing to do anything and everything for the limelight, but isn’t that what makes them awesome? Where else could you see a girl try to win the heart of a guy by making her self into a human banana split, or see a bunch wannabe supermodels get cutthroat while wearing bikini’s? Not on Gossip Girl. So it’s to those fine females, we dedicate this list.
Now, with all the reality TV shows that have come and gone, it was hard to pare this list down to just 50. To make it a little easier we took out the girls who found fame before hitting the reality circuit (sorry, Padma), and we tried to make it as diverse as possible. You thought that police woman on TLC was cute? We did, too! There’s bound to be some girls that didn’t make our list, but we’re sure you’ll dig the stable we put together…

Before Diddy kicked her out of Danity Kane for being an oversexed attention seeker, Complex’s favorite (allegedly) breast-implanted Columbia Law dropout was just one of 10,000 chicks desperately trying to impress him on Making the Band 3. And impress she did. When Diddy watches a white girl dance and listens to her sing and says she must have “black in her family,” you know she’s got talent. Or he’s trying to inseminate her.
Finally some images of Aubrey hosting at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego on New Years Eve has showed up. I’ve been looking for some videos of her performing, but no look so far. Click the thumbnails above to view the set. She looks cute!
